The alarm has a rechargeable battery that will provide
you with uninterrupted protection up to 90 hours
after there is a power outage. Once your power is
restored, the battery will recharge itself.
Can I

Yes, if you
are within the transmitting distance up to 600
feet.
Does
the medical alarm work with an answering machine?
Yes, again! The alarm
will not interfere with the operation of your answering
machine.
Does
the medical alarm work with a cordless phone?
Yes. The cordless phone
is connected to the base of the alarm and has full
access to the line.
What
if I have an emergency while I am on the phone?
Tell the person you need help, then hang up and push
your transmitter button.
How do
I check to see if my medical alarm is working?
We want you to test your system regularly! To test, all
you do is press your transmitter button to dial into the
console. In less than a minute you will hear someone
ask if you need help, tell them you are just testing.
